As well as our Standard 80/20 Blend Cartridges-cellulose (80%) and polyester (20%) we have offer alongside this range our superior Nano Fibre Cartridges which are perfect for containing much finer dusts. With the advancement and availability of nano fibre technology, these filters are now able to collect more – and smaller – particles than ever before, while at the same time lasting longer, using less fan and compressed air energy, and requiring less maintenance than the Standard 80/20 range.
All our cellulose blends are 80% cellulose/20% polyester and are also flame retardant coated too.
Benefits are,
Better cleaning – Blowing dust off the surface of the filter, as compared to forcing the dust out of the media pores, is easier and faster. Less dust on the filter means lower operating pressure drop, increased airflow at capture points, less cleaning cycles and less compressed air used reduces operating cost and gives better system efficiency.
Dust collector sizing – sizing of dust collectors is based on dust size, quantity of dust, and airflow. When filters are easier to clean because dust remains on the surface, more airflow per cartridge can be realized. This results in smaller collectors, less Cartridges, and overall, lower cost to purchase and lower cost to operate and maintain.
Energy saving – with surface loading, better Filter cleaning, and smaller particulate not clogging the media, pressure drop across the filter remains lower. Using a Variable speed drive to maintain a steady airflow; Fan runs slower using less energy, reducing the system operating cost.
Maintenance – With more efficient cleaning maintaining a lower pressure drop cartridges will last longer.This means less cartridge changes, less cartridges to buy, and less waste.
